How to get there

Airport

Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) is the international airport of Milan.

Milan Linate Airport (LIN) is commonly used for short-haul flights within Europe.

Transfers

Taxis and private transfers are the fastest and most convenient services, as they are door-to-door. A ride from Milan Airport in a taxi will cost approximately €180. You can also get there by train if you’d prefer a less expensive option.

However, there is no direct train line between the two locations, so the journey requires at least one change. (45 minutes drive from Malpensa airport and 1 hour drive from Linate Airport).

The best way to reach Lake Como is by train: you can take a train from Milan Centrale Station (Milano Centrale) and get off at Como San Giovanni, Como’s main station, or Como Nord Lago (40 minutes drive).

Accommodation

We have blocked a limited number of rooms at Villa d’Este for our wedding guests.
However, you can book rooms outside of the premises.

If you plan to choose your own hotel or Airbnb, we kindly advise you to stay close to Villa D'Este and Villa Pizzo. Transportation around Lake Como is limited, so staying nearby will make it much more convenient to get around.

Will the ceremony be outside?

Yes! There will be a refreshment station to keep you hydrated.

Are children allowed at the wedding ceremony?

Although we love your little ones, our wedding and reception are adults-only events!

Will there be parking options available?

No, we will have transportation to take guests from Villa D'Este and surrounding hotels to Villa Pizzo for the ceremony.
